Most large estates employ a team of workers that ensure the smooth running of the estate, management of onsite business and if required childcare provision. Personnel include ground staff, household staff, maintenance staff, chauffeurs and nannies. Farrow Risk Management was approached by such an estate to advise on what would be needed to ensure that both the estate and staff complied with best practice regarding health & safety requirements. Following initial discussions and a Training Needs Analysis FRM provided a Personal Safety Awareness training programme to all staff that covered conflict management, communication skills and personal safety awareness strategies (bespoke to the specific environment). The success of the programme has led to follow up meetings to discuss health and safety training, fire safety training and advice on a range of risk assessment needs.
